MCCI is a Mass Save® HEAT Loan lender offering a no-interest loan for home energy efficiency improvements. Funding is available to assist homeowners with energy-efficient upgrades that include replacing heating & cooling systems, adding insulation, replacing windows, and much more.

Amount: Up to $50,000
Rates & Terms: 0% rates with up to 7-year terms
Property Type: Owner-occupied 1 to 4-family residence
Qualified Improvements:
- Mass Save recommended attic, wall, and basement insulation
- Heating systems
- Domestic hot water & solar hot water heaters
- Central air conditioning and heat pumps
- ENERGY STAR® qualified replacement window
- Energy-efficient thermostats
Available to Customers:
- Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, Unitil Electric, and municipal electric customers served by Columbia Gas of Massachusetts or Liberty Utilities.

How the Mass Save® HEAT Loan Program Process Works

Step 1

Homeowners must call Mass Save at 866-527-SAVE (7283) and schedule a FREE Home Energy Assessment.

Step 2

Get a quote from a licensed and insured contractor for your Mass Save eligible energy efficiency project.

Step 3

Complete and submit a copy of the Intake Form to your HEAT Loan Program Administrator. If an energy-efficiency project meets all program eligibility, the homeowner will receive an Authorization Form.
